Classic Low Pitch Lean-to
Following on from the launch of the Classic Plus conservatory roofing system last year, Ultraframe have added yet another roofing system to the Classic family- Classic Low Pitch Lean-to.
The Classic system currently performs between 5-45 degrees, meaning on the few occasions that retailers needed a low pitch conservatory roof below 5 degrees they have had to turn to Ultraframe's other conservatory roof brands Utopia and Ultralite 500.
However, certain retail salespeople like to sell all their conservatories from one ‘suite’ – the ability to talk confidently in the consumer’s front room and know that what was sold could be built is reassuring and so we were faced with a demand to service these needs from within the Classic suite.
Ultraframe's innovative R&D team used the eaves beam from its Elevation roof in conjunction with the current Classic roof to form the Classic Low Pitch Lean-to.
The latest Classic conservatory roof system features many of the usual options available on the standard Classic roof including Chambered top cappings. Some of the key features and benefits of the new Classic Low Pitch Lean-to include:
- Available in two polycarbonate glazing options-25mm or 35mm- or unglazed for 4-16-4 units
- Fully variable pitch (2.5-10 degrees)
- 3 colour options- White, Rosewood and Light oak (internal and external)
- Structural firrings at 2.5 degrees and 5 degrees are available in 3 colour options
- Suitable for raked frames
- Tested and approved by the BBA down to 2.5 degrees
- Intergrated wall plate ventiliation system for additional comfort
- Optional boxgutter allows 'work arounds' on restricted soffitt situations
As with all Ultraframe products, the new Classic Low Pitch Lean-to is fully supported with its own system guide to aid specification and to give guidance and understanding of the heights of the wall plate at various pitches. In addition, the product comes with a fully comprehensive installation guide.
